People keep saying you're supposed to select a niche, that you're either extroverted or introverted, that you are either right brained (artistic) or left brained (STEM).
I don't think we are any one thing, at least I'm not. I'm a business leader, an artist, a daughter, a sister, a dog mom, a wife, a friend, an extroverted introvert, a right brained-left brain.
I believe most artists are great at proportions, angles, coordinate planes (aka math). I think most engineers have to think creatively (not just analytically) to build new things.

Born and raised outside Memphis, TN. My ancestors settled the town and I've still got 150 family members who are there, so I guess you can call me country. After moving to Nashville, Austin, Charleston, Jacksonville, Washington DC, I've recently settled in the burbs on the Maryland side of the DMV.
Traveling the world, moving away from TN, graduate level education - these aren't super common for where I'm from. I spent a lot of my career believing I needed the biggest brand name schools, job titles, and companies I could get to prove to everyone that "I could do it". Once I found web3 at Ernst & Young Consulting, I traveled down the rabbit hole, caught the builder bug, and traded in my black suit for magenta overalls, a wallet, and a paint brush.
You can see a list of the type of consulting work I do by clicking the button below. TLDR is that I've got 10+ years experience across startups, public and private B2B SaaS, and consulting including strategy, ops, and bizdev at WalletConnect, building out Ernst & Young’s web3 product launch and growth consulting business, and a Georgetown MBA. I can build board ready, F500 ready presentations as well as camaraderie with a DevRel team. Not to mention I enjoy making art and experimenting with new creator tools.
I took art classes starting in elementary school through college, always as electives in between my more rigorous math and science classes. After graduating from Vanderbilt, I made a few pieces and took a class or two, but slowly I stopped creating. Somewhere along the way I caught the “time is money” and “art doesn’t make money” bug. I recently slowed down and completed The Artist’s Way 12 week exercise to revive my creativity. I’m continuing my journey in playing with art by engaging in web3 and AI creator tools. Check out my art page where I’ll keep updating as I create new pieces, launch NFTs, etc.
